The group was founded in 1995 by Carlo RAVOT, percussionist, composer, teacher, within the laboratories of Percussion CRAMS (Research Centre Art Music Entertainment) in Lecco and Monticello Brianza. Since 2001 Percussionisti Anonimi inaugurated an intense career of performances, shows and concerts getting acclaim from audiences and critics. The group consists of a staff, varying between 4 and 6 elements, and offers an ‘unconventional’ original and unique show of percussion in which the rhythm, the movements, the timing and rhythmic twists create visual captivating and engaging sounds. The group uses objects, tools and materials of daily use (bins, ladders, hammers, lids, buckets, pots, pans, chairs, plates, watering cans, bottles, etc.), but also advanced instruments (drums, timpani, snare drum) and traditional percussion, and inserts on the show even short gag and small choreographic interventions. The band has over 400 performances and concerts, among which those at the Alcatraz in Milan and at the Indoor Stadium of Rimini, corporate conventions for Yamaha, Peugeot, Fiat, Citroen, Reynaers and others, and has participated in prestigious International Street Festival as Sarnico Buskers Festival, Artiste de Rue of Aosta, Mojoca Festival of Cilento, the Bajocco Festival of Rome, Artinstrada Festival of Montalto in Calabria, Festival delle Serre di Cosenza and many others.
